Federalism in America: An Encyclopedia seeks qualified contributors to update entries and write new entries relevant to federalism in America.

Each entry should provide a general understanding of the topic with a particular focus on how the topic affects or is affected by federalism. The targeted audience is undergraduates and others seeking a basic but strong fundamental understanding of the topic and its relation to federalism. Entries vary in length from 300 to 1,500 words depending on the topic. Each entry’s author is acknowledged in a byline in the entry. Entry's revised by a different author will be listed as a co-author. Authors will be compensated via check after the entry is received and approved by the editor.

A list of available entries appears below. Authors may also submit a proposal for a new entry. Before beginning an entry, please check with the editor at the email below, and include your c.v. with relevant material demonstrating qualifications to write the requested entry(ies). The encyclopedia’s style guidelines, and an example of an entry will be sent to you via email upon request.

Thank you.
